The One-Afternoon Website
From nothing to live in a few hours. Here is the game plan.
You do not need weeks. You do not need a designer. You do not even need a full day. Here is the exact sequence for getting a professional website up in one afternoon.
Before You Start (15 minutes)
Gather this information. Write it down or type it in your notes app:
- Your business name
- What services you offer (be specific)
- Your service area
- What makes you different from competitors
- Your phone number, email, and hours
- 5-10 photos of your work (phone photos are fine)
Step 1: Sign Up for Lovable (2 minutes)
Go to Lovable. Create a free account. That is it.
Step 2: Generate Your Site (5 minutes)
Type a detailed description of your business using the info you gathered. The more specific you are, the better the result.
Step 3: Review and Refine (30-45 minutes)
Go through each page. Tell Lovable what to change. Swap in your real content. Add your photos. Fix anything that does not sound like you.
Step 4: Check Mobile (10 minutes)
Preview it on your phone. Make sure the phone number is clickable. Make sure text is readable. Make sure the contact form works.
Step 5: Get a Domain (10 minutes)
Buy your domain from Namecheap or Cloudflare if you do not have one already. Point it at Lovable.
Step 6: Go Live (5 minutes)
Publish. Share the link. Put it on your Google Business Profile. Add it to your Facebook page. Print it on your business cards.
