Who is Blake?

Name: Blake Howe

Blake owns Building Better Software, a software company focused on WordPress   security hardening, performance optimization, and building WordPress sites. It’s a lean operation: He’s the sole owner running the show, with some Ad hoc hep when needed.  He has 20 years of software development experience but has increasingly shifted away from doing the hands work himself, leaning heavily into agentic engineering encapsulated in systems and processes.

He works from home (3am–3pm), manages three kids and the household while his wife works in a business outside the home. People come to him for deep WordPress expertise, but his current obsession is building agentic workflows that do the work for him. He runs multiple autonomous agent instances one for lead gen/outreach, one for household meal ops, and one for personal finance tracking. He’s building a custom Mac desktop app to trigger agents with full context.

Family

Married. Three kids — one biological (15 years old) and two adopted (ages 4 and 5). Wife works outside the home. Blake and his wife have decided to pay off all debt, with the possibility of becoming missionaries down the road.

Faith

Christian. Family attends church on regularly  Missionary work could be on the horizon who knows.
